8 PLACES TO PUT YOUR NEW CHARITY LOGO

Now that you got a snazzy new logo for your nonprofit, either from my FREEBIE, or from myself or another rockstar designer…

Where should you put it? What now? Which file version should you use? What the actual frick is a EPS? If you don’t use that new logo, you are not using your $money$ or time wisely. Consistency = Stability So consistently use that logo in ALL of the following places to level up your stability score + see those donations roll in!

DON’T WORRY.
This week, I will walk you through all of those steps and what you need.

1. Website

This is the most obvious place to showcase a great business logo design. A website is the first place someone will check to see your validity, verify your trust + make that fatal call on wether or not to donate to your charity. Make it easy, consistent and as a dear friend says “Matchy-Matchy”.

REMEMBER: CONSISTENCY REPRESENTS STABILITY + without stability, no one is going to donate to you because you look flaky AF.

2. Emails

Creating a custom email signature for you and each member on your team is seriously the most important. Its so important, I give it to all of my logo clients for FREE. EVERYONE uses email for touch-points now a days. It’s important to make sure this correspondence is branded too. Some of my favorite builders are:

3. Letters

Put your logo on a new letterhead or simply place it in the header of a template in Word and make it your starting point for all documents digital and printed. Putting your logo on all correspondence instantly levels up your credibility + makes you look legit.

4. Donation Forms + Thank Yous

Making sure your donation form is branded with your logo again, creates your consistency for trust and reputation for your donors. Then following up that donation with another branded thank you is super important. It further reiterates that you are going to do what you said with their money.

5. Print Items

Business Cards, Posters, Banners are all so important for special events or conventions. Some of the best ways to make a splash and prove your legitimacy is by having these at your registration tables. Some of my favorite places to get items created are Vistaprint, Moo and GotPrint. Make sure to ask Vistaprint for a 501c3 discount to get 33% off.

6. Social Media Profiles - ALL OF THEM

Never leave social media followers guessing who you are. Sometimes your screen name isn’t available but your logo will tie everything together. A logo and your mission statement should be the first thing users see on your profiles. More importantly, social media sites directly link brand visuals with donor engagement. Every time you post content, followers see your logo on their newsfeeds.

7. Merchandise

Oh Merch! I even have some to help promote some of my favorite charities. With drop ship options like Printful + Printify you can easily and with no extra costs, get merch and gear to your donors with YOUR LOGO ON IT! This allows them to show their advocacy for your charity with pride all while having something tangible to hold. I have seen lots of charities use these shops as donor gifts at certain levels of support with great success.

THINGS LIKE:

  • Clothing and Caps

  • Mugs + water bottles

  • Bags + Totes

For social media posts or events, its also fun to add your logo to one off items like custom tumblers or candles. Check out Etsy for and Uncommon Goods some of the best products to show off your design in pictures and at your special events.

8. Google Business Listing

One of THE most effective ways to get noticed + be seen is to get your Google Business Listing up and get your logo “Matchy-Matchy”. Google will help bring donors to you but you really need them to trust what they are clicking on. That google business listing is so important.

Need to know how to set it up? Get that workbook here in my FREEBIES, yeah for FREE
