PROJECT

FAQs

  • I use Squarespace for MOST of my projects. Most clients choose this platform for its clean, powerful, mobile responsive, user friendly (UX/UI) ease. Some people are affiliated with different platforms due to various reasons. My experience has exposed me to multiple platforms, allowing me to navigate and master web design across these platforms (a skill that few designers possess). Should you still want a wordpress, wix, shopify, webflow, vizergy or fully html site, I can still help with expert & seasoned experience. Starting prices reflect squarespace pricing, other platforms will occur an upcharge.

  • I do not write your content for you but rather edit what you present to me for best practice and use on web-design. I will provide prompts and a workbook to get the words flowing so we can get your messaging solid.

  • Before we book your week and accept your deposit, we will sit down and discuss the items needed. Based on your availability and mine, we will set a realistic timeline for you to gather the images, complete the prompts and compile your credentail sign ons. I will guide you the whole way and be available via email if you come across any snags. To create your website, there are a few tasks you'll need to complete. This includes filling out some forms and uploading relevant documents to Google Drive. These steps are necessary for me to proceed with building your website and I promise I try and make it as pain free as possible.

  • Absolutely not! Why hire me?! You really just need to be available "the Thursday afternoon/evening to review the website. Your launch call will be the following day. Nice, quick and seamless.

  • I work like a busy bee to address anything and everything within our revision windows. If there are more edits or items we need to tackle, we can do that at my hourly rate. Don’t worry though, I work super fast.

  • Any graphics I need to create for your website will be provided in jpg/png form. Working files are not provided.

STARTER WEBSITE

FAQs

  • Our templates typically come in the form of a new Squarespace 7.1 trial site. However, if you have an existing Squarespace site, you can hire me to install the new design right into your current Squarespace 7.1 website. Your existing account MUST be 7.1 for this to qualify. If not, you will need a new subscription. Reach out to Squarespace Support to verify if your site is 7.0 or 7.1.

    Migration 7.1 to 7.1 Installation: $100

  • Absolutely! Templates are completely customizable within Squarespace. I show you how to do this with the user manuals and video tutorials.

  • Nope! This is Squarespace 7.1 exclusive.

  • Because of the digital nature of this product, I cannot offer returns. Please familiarize yourself with both the template demo and Squarespace before your purchase to make sure both fit your needs.

  • If the manual and video tutorials do not provide sufficient assistance on how to add them, please don't hesitate to reach out to me via email for further support during that 30-day period.

  • Yes! You will need a Squarespace Account + a domain. If you don’t have either, my checklist will show you how to take care of all that on Squarespace.

    · Squarespace account (you will need a business plan or higher - CHECK OUT THEIR CURRENT PRICING, pay annually and get an EXTRA 20% off because you worked with me. BUT Wait to purchase the Squarespace plan AFTER we deliver your new template. If you don’t, you will need to cancel or pay the migration fee which is just a pain. Aka… just wait.

    · Domain/ URL (if you don’t already have one, you can get this thru Squarespace too)

**Also, just make sure you are all set with digital tools by heading over to my RESOURCES page. Make sure you have a program/tool under the email marketing and donor management sections. If not, check out one of my favorites.

RANDOM

FAQs

  • I'd definitely be Comic Sans! Just kidding, it’s the worst font on the planet.

In reality, I'd probably be Raleway - a bit funky but timeless in an understated way.

  • Oh, that's like asking me to pick my favorite scotch! But if I had to choose, it's always a joy working with bright and bold colors that pop off the screen! Oh and a good neutral base… My favorite color is grey.

  • I'm like the Usain Bolt of design! While I value quality over speed, I always strive to deliver your designs as quickly as possible! Its like a game to me… I AM neurodivergent.

  • Using Paypal for your donor management. There are so many other options. Please let me help you. I will point you in the right direction for free.

  • Once, I accidentally broke a website while learning code. The best part? I learned to unbreak it! I also learned the power of a ; vs a :

  • I often go for a walk, read, visit the art museum or watch mindless tv. You'd be surprised how often inspiration strikes when you're doing something unrelated!

  • I was once asked to do an innuendo logo for a chicken rub… if you get my point. It was a fun challenge, and the client loved the finished product! I struggle if I should include the logo in my portfolio though… its an acquired taste (wink wink)

  • While I haven't mastered sleep-designing (yet!), I often dream about designs and code in my sleep. According to something my husband read, when you dream in a language you've learned, it indicates your proficiency in that language. Soooo, I think it's safe to say I live and breathe design!
