MEET - Erase PTSD Now! This Week we will go over a fun and furious redesign of a new charity that is near and dear to my heart. Check out how we turned the site from basic to a DONOR FOCUSED dream that is clarified, organized and ready to scale with the nonprofit. Check it out!
So what is Erase PTSD Now?
Erase PTSD Now gives hope to trauma survivors by eliminating financial barriers for treatment. So they can HEAL an injured sympathetic nervous system, RESTORE a higher quality of life, and ERADICATE post-traumatic stress symptoms.
This nonprofit raises funds for the following uses:
Research - of post-traumatic brain injury and furthering the science around the ground breaking treatment of SGB
SGB Treatments for those who need scholarships - Trauma can happen from numerous sources. Not just those heroes serving to protect our country. Trauma from human trafficking, mass shootings and from working as a first responder is also possible. The Stellate-Ganglion-Block procedure resets the body’s fight, flight and freeze response. It has over double the max PCL drop previously known from other treatments (PCL is a PTSD recovery measurement test)
Awareness - of traumatic stress disorder as the nervous system injury that the medical community is finally understanding it to be.
What did I focus on with this redesign?
We worked on creating a more robust feeling site that was visually stimulating and made sure to capture the hearts of all types of donors. Those who were looking for tax benefits, altruistic donors, donors who wanted to see impact, donors who wanted stories, donors who wanted to feel good about giving and have a social connection. We got all of those avatars covered. We also streamlined the data, the communication architecture and made the site compliant with UserWay and an Equity Statement.
