APPRECIATION SEASON - LAST MINUTE GIFT GUIDE

Ok, so other than your numerous efforts of saying “thank you”, showing your gratitude and impact, how else can you do to show your appreciation to your volunteers, donors and staff?

Here are my favorite last minute ways to show them you care.

ANDDD, I am even exposing some of my client gifts. You’re welcome.

#1 HAPPYBOX

These boxes are SOOOO much fun to make and are a great way to easily personalize a gift box to an employee or major donor/ sponsor. You can add a fun, authentic note sharing with them JUST how much they mean to you. You can also trick these little babies out to be as luxury or budget as you need.

PROS

  • Scale for budget

  • Lots of gift options for different tastes

  • Add a personal note and touch

  • Fast Delivery

CONS

  • Lots of pushes for upsells so be savvy and have a budget in mind

#2 Shoutout + Gift Card

Really Strapped for time? Show some PDA! Public Display of APPRECIATION!

This should be super easy and quick. Hop on Amazon or their favorite retailer. Get a digital gift card then start professing your admiration and appreciation for them in the form of a sweet and adorable SM post! Make sure you get a cute and attractive image to accompany the post (pull from their profile pictures to be sure its approved by their gaze) and share and tag them and some of your friends.

PROS

  • For those TRUE procrastinators, you can do this in an hour.

  • Engages your community

  • Shows reach

CONS

  • Exposes potential organizational mismanagement

  • Your employee, donor/sponsor or volunteer might feel like an afterthought
*avoid this by including the gift card

This is great for those lower level donors or volunteers who give a lot but are not at the physical gift threshold.

#3 Greetabl

Greetabl is such a great place for small, bitesized (often literally) fun thank you’s. Adding in bulk gifts and adding a bit of whimsy to the gifts is just a breeze. For this reason, I say this is fantastic option for volunteers or donors.

PROS

  • Great for bulk, copy a box and add a custom note

  • Can be very affordable but you can scale up value with giftcards

  • Add a note for a personal touch

  • Its cute small package is recyclable

  • More box options than HappyBox

CONS

  • Gifts tend to lean more feminine, holistic and boozy but they have been adding more “male’esk” gifts

  • Delivery can be tricky

  • Limited gift options and you can only add 2 (compared to HappyBox)

Happy Shopping & Appreciation World Changers!

Cheers,
